Hirra is a specialist recruitment company for fintech, payments, AI and technology — we recruit the people who build, operate and scale modern financial infrastructure.

Why we exist

Sourcing is being commoditised. Anyone can now generate a list of plausible-looking candidates in minutes, which means a list is worth very little. What remains scarce is judgement: knowing which of those people have actually done the job, which will move, and which will pass a technical interview with your CTO.

We recruit only into fintech, payments, AI and the technology around them. That narrowness is the point. It means our consultants can hold a real conversation about settlement, transaction monitoring or model evaluation — and candidates can tell within the first two minutes of a call whether the person approaching them understands the work.

How we work

We take fewer briefs than a volume agency and go deeper on each. If a search is outside what we know, we say so at the first call rather than take the mandate and burn a quarter of your hiring plan finding out.

We publish what we screen for on every expertise page, so you can assess our domain knowledge before you speak to us rather than after.

What we will not do

Send a long list of loosely-matched CVs to look productive.
Claim a market we do not know in order to win a mandate.
Put a candidate forward without their explicit consent for that specific role.
Quote a hiring timeline that ignores regulatory approval where one is required.
Charge a candidate. Employers pay our fees.
