Product & commercial recruitment

Product managers, partnerships and revenue leaders who can sell and build regulated financial products.

Commercial hiring in fintech fails when it is treated as generic SaaS hiring. Selling payment infrastructure means long cycles, technical buyers, procurement, risk review and a compliance sign-off that can end the deal.

We recruit product and commercial talent for companies whose buyers are banks, financial institutions, PSPs and regulated businesses.

What we understand about this market

Published so you can assess our domain knowledge before the first call, rather than after it.

  • Product management inside a regulatory perimeter, where compliance is a design input rather than a review gate
  • Enterprise and institutional sales cycles into banks and financial institutions
  • Partnership models: bank sponsorship, BaaS, referral and revenue share, ISO and ISV channels
  • Pricing and interchange-aware commercial modelling
  • Market entry and country leadership in the GCC and Southeast Asia, including licensing constraints

What we screen for

The signals that separate candidates who have done the job from candidates who can describe it.

Sold to this buyer before?

Selling to a bank risk committee is not the same as selling to a mid-market CFO. We screen for the specific buyer, cycle length and deal size, not headline quota attainment.

Technical credibility with the product

Fintech product and commercial hires lose deals when they cannot hold a technical conversation. We test that directly in screening.

Quota context

We ask what the number was, what the team average was, and how much of the pipeline was inherited. Attainment without context is close to meaningless.

Where these hires go wrong

  • Hiring high-velocity SaaS sellers into long institutional cycles and reading the first two quarters as failure.
  • Recruiting a country manager without confirming the licensing path in that market first.
  • Hiring a CPO when the actual gap is a senior PM who can run delivery.

Frequently asked

Do you recruit sales and partnerships roles as well as product?
Yes. We recruit product managers, heads of product and CPOs alongside partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, country managers and regional directors — where the buyer is a bank, financial institution or regulated business.

Hiring a role that generalist recruiters keep getting wrong?

Send us the brief. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it, what the market looks like, and what it will take to hire.
